MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission at Community Christian Preschool is to provide a safe, loving, learning environment in which all children are encouraged to grow socially, academically, and spiritually.
OUR VISION AND PHILOSOPHY
Our ultimate goal is to have a quality early childhood program that reaches into the community to share the love of Jesus with all children. We have trained our teachers in Creative Curriculum which is a play based philosophy founded on brain research that recommends hands-on learning as the best way to teach children in all areas. We use large groups, small groups and individual one-on-one times to meet each child where they are and take them to the next level or development.
We are accredited by United Methodist Association of Preschool (UMAP) and Gold Seal. UMAP believes that nurturing a child's faith is an important part of their early development and we could not agree more. We use daily prayer circles, blessings of snacks and lunches, chapel time (every other week) to encourage an open relationship with Jesus.
What makes our preschool ministry different from other programs in the area is our intentional attitude to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate program that focuses not only on academic skills that prepare children to be life long learners but the life skills that make it possible. As Christians, we know that those skills come from biblical teachings and from modeling a personal walk with Jesus. We are a bridge to the community as we accept children of all races, backgrounds, cultures and religions.

Non-Discriminatory Statement
Community Christian Preschool will not discriminate against any individual because of race, color, sex, religion, national origin or disability. Community Christian Preschool supports the right of children with disabilities to grow and learn alongside their typically developing peers. Integrating with and without disability in the class room increases the opportunity for all children to learn about and accept individual differences.
